I decided for an improvised session caught on video at home in my apartment because this is the place where, between travels and concerts, all thoughts and memories flow together and want to be put in order. In contrasting unity of Day and Night ideas from my past as well as my album “Ströme” that was recorded in this exact space are put into context once again. All of the instruments are recorded live and layered anew in the loop station; the voices of the Gewandhaus choir are disected, sampled and discussed in a new way by means of electronic reproduction. The resulting pieces stay modular and a work in progress as well. This piece is inspired by AMSOMB & KSYCHA from my latest album "Ströme".
