Renaud Capuçon plays Vivaldi: The Four Seasons: Violin Concerto in G minor (Summer): III. Presto

Vivaldi's renowned violin masterpiece The Four Seasons and two remarkable concertos by Chevalier de Saint-George create a fascinating sequence in the recording by Renaud Capuçon and the Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne. Discover here: https://w.lnk.to/seaLY

The French violinist was in no rush to record The Four Seasons. "For years, I refused to play it. I'd heard it too much in the corridors of the Métro in Paris and as hold music on the phone. But once I'd accepted to play it, I was blown away by the power of the music … I realized that it's famous because it's amazing! It's a masterpiece. I've now played it frequently with Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne and it feels fresh and new every time. It's amazingly modern."
