Anneleen Lenaerts & Emmanuel Pahud discuss Nino Rota's Sonata for Flute and Harp

"The strength of Rota's musical language lies in its simplicity, which often conceals an inner play of contrasts." Anneleen Lenaerts plays Nino Rota on her new album: https://w.lnk.to/nrLY

Italian composer Nino Rota is well-known for his spectacular roster of film scores, but his talent extends far beyond the silver screen. This album features three of his original classical compositions – Concerto for Harp and Orchestra, Sonata for Flute and Harp, and Sarabanda e Toccata – in addition to arrangements for solo harp of some of his most beloved film scores: The Godfather, La Dolce Vita, Romeo and Juliet, and more.

Anneleen is joined by flautist Emmanuel Pahud, the Brussels Philharmonic, and conductor Adrien Perruchon.
