The program explores poetic pieces written between the 1840s and 1990s, representing six composers of Poland. Among these, the two most internationally well-known are Stanisław Moniuszko, considered the father of Polish opera, and Karol Szymanowski, prominent in "Young Poland", a progressive artistic movement that flourished in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
